ABOUT OUR CPL TRAINING
Our company holds large, small, and private classes within the local Metro Detroit area.
Our classes will introduce you to defensive shooting, basic defensive handgun skills, firearms, and the law, strategies for home safety and responding to violent encounters, and selecting a handgun for self-defense.
Following the classroom instruction, you will accompany the instructor to a local shooting range and shoot.

Hello, my name is William Rice Jr., known as “Riceman” and I am the Chief Instructor of Bullet Force Concealed Pistol License (CPL).
I have served in the military for (10) ten years in the following branches - United Army Reserved – 13 Bravo Field Artillery and the United States Air Force – Medical Administration. I am an active member within the Detroit Police Department (DPD) with the current rank of Detective. I have been with DPD for 25 years.
Within my life span, it fairly to say that I have gained over 35 years of experience with dealing with firearms, criminal elements, and the public. I can say without any hesitation that I have a genuine heart to PROTECT and SERVE my family, friends, community, and country.
I have experience with when to use or not to use a firearm and make sound judgments calls. I have also investigated numerous shootings, robberies, and felonious assaults. I have even gained knowledge and experiences on what the Assistant Prosecutors look for in submitting a warrant when a person uses a gun. I extended my training by obtaining CPL Instructor certification with National Rifle Association (NRA) and United States Concealed Carry Association (USCCA).
I am very passionate about my 2nd Amendments rights and strive to put on the best classes forth with the most up-to-date information that I received from Michigan Law and Federal Law and the use of many years of training and experience. Additionally, I will provide an environment that is comfortable and safe for training.
